Anderson Creek Tour | July 19, 2026

Photos from the Anderson Creek tour with RFFI on July 19 — thirty-plus community members joined us to explore the creek's remarkable restoration story, from Richard Gienger and Tom Leroy's early work removing massive log jams by horse forty years ago, through later woody debris installations, to the fingerling coho and steelhead now thriving in the stream.

Along the way we waded into the creek, traced the geologic layers that shaped the channel, and celebrated decades of restoration success. Thank you to everyone who came out to share their love of forests, geology, and the outdoors with ISF.
